This summer transfer window has been absolutely dramatic for West Ham. Julen Lopetegui's side have brought in three players including young Brazilian winger, Luis Guilherme, 33-year-old keeper Wes Foderingham and summer signing Max Kilman.

On the other hand, there have been three outgoings as well which saw Said Benrahma leave for Lyon, Thilo Kehrer joining Monaco and Ben Johnson moving to Premier League new boys Ipswich Town.

West Ham still need to bring in a new striker, a centre-back and a right-back before the new season kicks off. And the Hammers are returning empty-handed from most deals despite advancing in negotiations.

Currently, Aston Villa remain firm on their £40 million Jhon Duran valuation, Todibo waiting for Juventus despite West Ham agreeing a transfer fee with Nice and Manchester United close to signing Mazraoui with whom the Hammers had verbally agreed a deal with Bayern Munich as well.

Also, the Red Devils are still in negotiations to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka to West Ham. And at the start of the transfer window, West Ham agreed an £11.5 million deal with Flamengo to sign 28-year-old centre-back Fabricio Bruno, only for him to reject West Ham move due to his salary demands.

The Hammers were thought to have moved on from that deal and they signed £40 million Max Kilman from Wolves in early July. However, a stunning revelation has come from journalist Julio Miguel Neto, which claim that West Ham are still interested in Bruno and have informed his club, Flamengo that they will return with another offer. The report claims that West Ham are prepared to offer an increased salary to land Fabricio Bruno amid their struggles bringing in a new centre-back.

Although the 28-year-old defender is a quality defender and is a great passer as well which can improve West Ham's build up play, moving again for the player who rejected West Ham last month comes as a surprise. This clearly indicates the Hammers struggles to finalize any deals at the moment despite advancing in negotiations for a lot of players.

If the club does sign the Brazilian defender, they would have to sell either of Kurt Zouma or Nayef Aguerd who is attracting interest from a French club, to raise funds for new signings that include a striker and a right-back.
