3 reasons why Max Kilman is a spectacular signing for West Ham
1. Julen Lopetegui
One of the big reasons for signing Kilman is none other than new Hammers manager, Julen Lopetegui. Prior to joining West Ham, Julen was in charge of Wolves during the second half of 22/23 and helped them avoid relegation.
There, Max Kilman was one of the mainstays in the Spaniard's lineup as the Englishman made 37 appearances in the Premier League in 22/23. Even after Lopetegui left Wolves, the 27-year-old led his Wolves side to avoid relegation by finishing fourteenth in the league.
This prompted director Tim Steidten to reunite the English defender alongside Lopetegui to ensure better communication in the side.
