Tomas Soucek has been a key player for West Ham United since he arrived at the club on loan from Slavia Prague in 2020. He scored three goals in 13 Premier League games to help ensure West Ham's survival in the Premier League that season. His loan deal was soon made permanent.

Soucek was part of the West Ham side that won the Europa Conference League. He has now played 275 times for the Hammers, scoring 46 goals, with 13 assists. However, his time at the London Stadium could soon be up. According to Claret & Hugh, the midfielder "is unlikely to be offered a new Hammers contract."

His contract with West Ham expires in June 2027. However, the Hammers may want to cash in on him this summer before he leaves on a free transfer.

Which teams has Tomas Soucek been linked with?

Everton is a possible destination. He has been linked with the Toffees in the past, as it would mean a reunion with David Moyes. The current Everton manager brought Soucek to West Ham, and the Czech international played some of his best soccer under the Scotsman.

Soucek has also been linked with moves to Turkey, in particular Galatasaray and Beşiktaş. Galatasaray would be a tempting proposition. They are currently top of the Super Lig, and are leading Liverpool 1-0 in their two-legged Champions League last 16 tie. Galatasaray already has some notable players, including Leroy Sane, İlkay Gündoğan, Mauro Icardi, and Victor Osimhen.

Besiktas are currently fourth in the Super Lig, and do not have the star players that Galatasaray boast. Their notable players are former Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, and Jota Silva, who is on loan from Nottingham Forest.

Edson Alvarez is currently on loan from West Ham and Fenerbahce, and Soucek could follow in his footsteps by also heading to Turkey.
