Crystal Palace–West Ham Premier League player ratings
Below, we're rating the West Ham players on a scale of 1 to 10.
Goalkeeper and defenders
Mads Hermanson (GK): 6
Mads Hermanson was largely untroubled, but his long passes forward troubled Palace's defence. Did concede to Ismaïla Sarr's strike, but the goal was ruled out for a handball by Jean-Philippe Mateta.
Kyle Walker-Peters (RB): 6
Kyle Walker-Peters is enjoying a good run in the team ahead of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Dinos Mavropanos (CB): 6
After his brace against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Dinos Mavropanos came close to scoring again with a header.
Axel Disasi (CB): 6
Axel Disasi's marking was a bit off at times as he allowed Brennan Johnson too much space.
El Hadj Malik Diouf (LB): 6
On the ball, El Hadj Malik Diouf was excellent as always. He was able to put some dangerous crosses into the Palace box.
Midfielders
Jarrod Bowen (RM): 6
The West Ham captain was always on hand on the right flank to put the ball into dangerous areas.
Tomas Soucek (CM): 6
Tomas Soucek was another player guilty of allowing Johnson too much time on the ball.
Mateus Fernandes (CM): 7
Confident on the ball and always willing to spread the ball about.
Crysencio Summerville (LM): 6
An uncharacteristically quiet performance from Crysencio Summerville.
Forwards
Pablo (SS): 6
Pablo deserves a lot of credit for the way he creates space for Taty Castellanos.
Taty Castellanos (CF): 7
Saw an overhead kick cleared off the line in the first half. Castellanos latched onto a long ball after the break, but was unable to trouble Dean Henderson.
