Axel Disasi has been reluctant to join West Ham United permanently after the club was relegated to the Championship. He is reportedly waiting on other clubs to come in for him despite having an agreement to join the Hammers.
The Chelsea insider, Simon Phillips, said on his YouTube channel, "Axel Disasi, Chelsea and West Ham have agreed terms in principle for a deal there, permanent deal for Disasi to go to West Ham. Disasi has verbally agreed personal terms with West Ham.
"The personal terms include a buyout clause which basically means Disasi, a club can come in and buy Disasi for a certain fee if West Ham don’t get promoted to the Premier League at the end of season.
"But it’s not done yet because Disasi has basically said he just wants to wait a couple of weeks or a week, at least a week now because he is speaking to three other clubs and he wants to see if their proposals are serious and if they’re going to come in properly. And one club is a Premier League club and two from Italy."

The Paris-based journalist, Fabrice Hawkins, posted on X: "Crystal Palace are set to submit an offer to Chelsea for Axel Disasi. The French defender has emerged as Palace’s priority target to replace Maxence Lacroix, with talks between the clubs currently ongoing. Italian clubs remain attentive to the situation."
Palace needs a new center-back after selling Maxence Lacroix to Chelsea. Disasi impressed in the second half of last season at West Ham and would feel that the Premier League is his level. The Eagles can offer Disasi top-flight football, and they have a place in the Europa League, as they won the Conference League last season.
The two Italian clubs were revealed by Ben Jacobs to be AC Milan and AS Roma. The GiveMeSport and talkSPORT reporter said on X: "Understand Chelsea are seeking £25m plus add-ons for Axel Disasi. Roma and Milan two clubs to have enquired."
Disasi has also been linked with Benfica earlier in the transfer window. Disasi has a very good CV, which also includes AS Monaco, Stade de Reims, Paris FC and Aston Villa. He also has five caps for France, and as he is just 28, he would feel that he is too good for the Championship.
