Recently, West Ham have been trying their best to bring in a new right-back at the club. Hammers had agreed a deal for Bayern Munich's Noussair Mazraoui only to be called off by the player's agent and Manchester United's interest in the fullback.

Then, West Ham moved to their preferred right-back none other than Manchester United's Aaron Wan-Bissaka. This was supposed to be the actual plan of the Hammers despite going for Mazraoui.

However, in the recent hours a lot of reports have surfaced claiming that Wan-Bissaka's £100k a week salary demands are thought to be too much by West Ham. But, a recent report from CaughtOffside have drawn optimism for West Ham stating that the Red Devils and the Hammers are involved in negotiations for the 26-year-old right-back.

As reported earlier, West Ham can sign the English defender for around £10 million as United want to replace Wan-Bissaka with Noussair Mazraoui. This is a bargain price for the talented right-back who isn't great going forward but is a more reliable presence in the defence which is a top priority for West Ham after conceding 74 goals in the Premier League last season.

Signing Wan-Bissaka will provide a much needed defence stability to West Ham and in terms of pace and ability to mark quality wingers, Wan-Bissaka is an upgrade over current right-back Vladimir Coufal. At the moment, only West Ham are interested in signing Wan-Bissaka but the Hammers should finalize the signing quickly as they have struggled to finalizing deals recently.
