There have been links that Taty Castellanos could be on his way to Fulham. Now the Cottagers are targeting Crysencio Summerville too.

According to The Guardian, "Fulham have joined the race to sign Crysencio Summerville from West Ham." This comes after Matteo Moretto posted on X (translated from Spanish), "Everton and Fulham want Taty Castellanos."

Summerville has been in demand this summer and has been linked with Chelsea, Manchester United, AC Milan, Olympique Marseille, and AS Roma. Therefore, if he were to end up at Fulham, it could be a bit disappointing for him.

The winger might have been expecting to join a team with a history of playing in the Champions League. However, Fulham finished 11th in the Premier League last season and will not be competing across the continent.

Last season, he scored seven goals with five assists in 34 games for West Ham. He was the Hammers' hero and one of the players who could have kept them in the Premier League. He backed up these performances at the World Cup, where he scored twice and made two assists in four games. However, he did miss his penalty in the Netherlands' shootout defeat to Morocco.

Fulham appear to be ambitious

The Cottagers' new manager is set to be Alvaro Arbeloa, who had a forgettable season at West Ham. He made just four appearances for the Hammers, fell out with Slaven Bilic, and then missed the rest of the campaign with a leg injury.

Whilst he also played for Liverpool, Arbeloa is synonymous with Real Madrid. He even took charge of Los Blancos last season after Xabi Alonso was sacked.

Signing Summerville and Castellanos too would be a boost for the Cottagers. Castellanos arrived at West Ham in January and was another player who Hammers fans thought could rescue them from relegation. He scored seven goals in 22 games for the Hammers.

Fulham need both players, Summerville to replace Harry Wilson and Castellanos to take the place of Raul Jimenez. Wilson left the club following the expiration of his contract and is rumored to be on his way to Leeds United. Jimenez has returned to Wolverhampton Wanderers, who West Ham will be competing against in the Championship next season.

The Hammers will need to replace Summerville and Castellanos. The club has already sold Mateus Fernandes to Tottenham Hotspur. However, West Ham fans will be hoping that Jarrod Bowen will be staying, especially as he was a part of the new kit release.
