Two weeks ago, West Ham's star forward Mohammed Kudus received a red-card against Tottenham Hotspurs in a massive 4-1 away defeat. Kudus's absence was a significant blow for Julen Lopetegui's side, who had largely been inconsistent in their attack in the ongoing league campaign.

Moreover, there are speculations about the fact that the former Ajax star could be unavailable for six matches as well, which means West Ham needs to find another front-three formation to take some wins in the next few matches. Cryscencio Summerville was one of the possible options to replace Kudus on the left flank, and the jet-heeled forward exceeded expectations by scoring against Manchester United to give a 1-0 lead to the home side.

West Ham later won the match 2-1, and Summerville was among the best players for Julen Lopetegui's side in that match. Now, according to The Athletic, Summerville admires his West Ham teammate Mohammed Kudus and even considers him as his role model at the club.

Kudus scored fourteen goals and provided six assists for West Ham last season and quickly became a fan favorite at the London Stadium. Although the Ghana international hasn't enjoyed a similar start to the ongoing season, the creative playmaker is one of the biggest match-winning players currently in European football.

Thus, Summerville also wants to replicate Kudus's impressive form for West Ham as he works towards his ambition of becoming an elite Premier League forward. Moreover, Kudus could be unavailable for the important Arsenal home fixture after the international break, and thus, Summerville would want to establish himself as a regular starter in the West Ham first-team by giving a world-class performance against the Premier League title favorites Arsenal at the London Stadium.

Now, it remains to be seen how many wins West Ham can register towards the first half of the Premier League season.
