Following the summer transfer window, star forward Mohammed Kudus’s West Ham future has been the subject of a lot of transfer rumours. Premier League side Liverpool have a keen interest in signing the Ghana international, who joined the Hammers in a £38 million transfer move from Ajax last year.

Manager Arne Slot is a huge admirer of the 24-year-old during his stay at Eredivisie side Feyenoord, and views Kudus as the perfect long-term replacement for Mohammad Salah at Liverpool. Kudus has an £85 million release-clause next year in his West Ham contract, but Liverpool aren't the only side who want to sign the prolific West Ham star.

According to the Mirror, Premier League title favourites Arsenal are also considering bringing Kudus to their squad in order to bolster their front three. Their decision to sign a new forward stems from the fact that Brazil international Gabriel Jesus has been unavailable for a lot of matches due to injury in the previous two seasons.

Further, Jesus hasn't scored a Premier League goal this season and the 27-year-old former Manchester City star could leave Arsenal next season after slipping down the pecking order behind Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard at the centre forward position. Thus, Arsenal want to bring a proven Premier League goalscorer such as Kudus in their squad in order to boost their ambitions of winning the Premier League in the next few seasons.

Kudus has gone strength to strength at West Ham and has scored 16 goals for the Hammers since his arrival, which means that West Ham could receive a significant transfer fee with the 24-year-old’s departure. Further, Julen Lopetegui's side can use these transfer funds to improve their squad in order to return to playing European football from the next season.

Similar to Liverpool and Arsenal, a few more top European teams could be interested in securing the signature of Mohammed Kudus, and it remains to be seen that which team manages to sign the 24-year-old forward in the upcoming seasons.
