West Ham are playing Tottenham Hotspurs in their eight league fixture, as they aim to continue their winning momentum against Ange Postecoglou's side. However, if the Hammers face another Premier League defeat, the speculations regarding a managerial change at West Ham will increase in the coming weeks.
Former Chelsea manager Graham Potter is willing to return to club football management, and could be willing to join West Ham as their new head coach. The Hammers have made a total of nine new signings that included elite players such as Jean-Clair Todibo, Niclas Fullkrug and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

However, Julen Lopetegui's side have largely underperformed in the beginning of the season despite assembling a quality squad during the summer transfer window. Now, former West Ham academy graduate Glen Johnson has also talked about his former club's Premier League campaign, saying,
"West Ham are suffering with so many new players and people. There have been a lot of changes at the club, and it takes time for everything to gel.
- Glen Johnson
I think West Ham will find their feet under Julen Lopetegui. They’ve made some good signings who just need to find their feet."
The fullback who joined Chelsea in a £6 million transfer move in 2003, highlighted that the new signings need more time to adapt to Lopetegui's style of football. Further, Johnson believes that the former Spain national team manager can bring good results consistently at the London Stadium, in the upcoming matches.
While West Ham started their league campaign with an aim to finish inside the top six, the Hammers have taken only two wins and are twelfth in the Premier League table. Therefore, manager Julen Lopetegui needs to find a good starting lineup in order to get the best out of his West Ham squad in the upcoming Premier League matches.
