Despite the massive rivalry between West Ham United and Millwall, there have been players who have represented both clubs. With the Hammers taking on the Lions this weekend, it is a good time to look back on players who crossed the divide.

Teddy Sheringham
Sheringham supported West Ham as a boy, but began his career with rivals Millwall. With the Lions, he developed a great strike partnership with Tony Cascarino. Sheringham also held the record for most goals for Millwall with 111.
He won the Second Division with Millwall and went on to have bigger success with Nottingham Forest, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Portsmouth. The forward then joined West Ham in 2004 and helped the club be promoted back to the Premier League via the Championship playoffs.
In the 2005/06 season, Sheringham was part of the West Ham side that got to the FA Cup final. However, they lost agonisingly to Liverpool on penalties. Sheringham holds the record for the oldest goalscorer in the Premier League, as he netted for the Hammers against Man City at the age of 40.
After leaving West Ham in 2007, Sheringham ended his playing days at Colchester United. He then returned to Upton Park as a forward coach under Sam Allardyce for the 2014/15 season. However, Sheringham's managerial career was short-lived, with stints at Stevenage and Atlético de Kolkata.
Tony Cottee
Cottee is a West Ham legend for his two spells at the club, which sandwiched a stint at Everton. Born in Forest Gate, he came from a family of Hammers supporters. He scored 138 goals in 320 games for West Ham.
The striker is best known for his partnership up front for West Ham alongside Frank McAvennie. He helped the Hammers claim third place in the First Division in 1986, and that year he won the PFA Young Player of the Year award.
After leaving West Ham for the second time, Cottee went on to play for Selangor in Malaysia. He then returned to English football and represented Leicester City, Birmingham City, Norwich City, and Barnet before ending his career with Millwall.
Lucas Neill
The Australian began his career with Millwall and helped them win the second division in the 2000/01 campaign. He then represented Blackburn Rovers before returning to London with West Ham. Neill was a solid right-back for the Hammers, whom he went on to captain.
After leaving West Ham, Neill became a journeyman playing for Everton, Galatasaray, Al Jazira, Al Wasl, Sydney, Omiya Ardija, Watford, and Doncaster Rovers.
Neil Ruddock
Ruddock had two spells at Millwall early on in his career. Nicknamed 'Razor', he went on to play for Southampton, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Queens Park Rangers before joining West Ham. With the Hammers, Ruddock won the Intertoto Cup in 1999.
Ruddock played 55 times for West Ham and left in 2000. He rounded off his career with spells at Crystal Palace and then Swindon Town.
Clive Allen
Allen joined West Ham in 1992, but was unable to prevent the club from being relegated. However, the following season, he scored 14 goals during the 1992/93 campaign as the Hammers were promoted to the Premier League as they finished second in the old Division One.
The forward scored against Cambridge United on the final day of the season, which clinched the promotion for the Hammers. However, he only made seven appearances back in the top flight, scoring twice.
He did score in Bobby Moore's testimonial match in 1994. That year, he joined Millwall but played just one season for the Lions before ending his career at Carlisle United.
