As the end of the transfer window approaches, West Ham are one of the clubs that could have a busy day trying to bring in new faces.
West Ham have already signed Czech duo Vladimir Coufal and Tomas Soucek on permanent deals. The Hammers have also signed Ossama Ashely on a free transfer from AFC Wimbledon after he impressed on trial.
There have been plenty of players to leave the club. Grady Diangana, Jordan Hugill, Albian Ajeti, Carlos Sanchez, Pablo Zabaleta and Roberto have all the left the club. Despite this business, West Ham are set to be one of the busier teams on deadline day.
OUTS
Josh Cullen, chances 10/10.
The academy graduate is set to join Anderlecht after agreeing to a three-year deal with the Belgian side. The Hammers have decided to sell the 24-year-old for a low fee of £800,000. Cullen’s departure comes as a surprise as many fans thought he would finally be given a chance in the first team this season.
Robert Snodgrass, chances 6/10.
The 33-year-old has only just come back from a long-term back and could now be on his way out. Celtic are interested in taking the midfielder on loan but are struggling to come up with the money to do so.
West Ham wants a loan fee or a permanent deal with a fee, Celtic however, have only wanted to loan the Scot. The Hoops will struggle to afford Snodgrass if the player refuses a pay-cut.
Should Snodgrass and Cullen leave, the Hammers will be very short in the midfield. These outgoings could force the club into the market for a new midfielder.
Andriy Yarmolenko, chances 4/10.
The Ukrianian has had a mixed start to the season, electric in the League Cup to missing in the Premier League. Yarmolenko has scored three goals and assisted two in three Cup matches, but contributed nothing in the League.
There have been rumours of a move back to Ukraine and also further afield to China. Yarmolenko could be the latest West Ham attacker to be lured away by the riches of China, following the footsteps of Marko Arnautovic and Nikica Jelavic.
Declan Rice, chances 2/10.
The England international has been linked with a move away throughout the transfer window, with Chelsea being his biggest fans. The Blues are still yet to bid for Rice and any move for him would require a fee upwards of £70 million.
The amount of money the move would require and the hole Rice would leave in the squad would be massive. West Ham would be bonkers to sell Rice at this point as there would be very little time to replace the star properly.
Xander Silva, chances 8/10
According to sports journalist Giannis Chorianopoulos, the once-promising youngster is set to join Greek side Aris Salonica on a season-long-loan. There is also rumours that the deal will include an option to buy at the end of Silva’s loan.
