Harry Wilson has been in fine form in the Premier League this season. He has scored eight goals with four assists in 24 games. However, he has not always been fully appreciated at Craven Cottage. In previous seasons, he has lacked game time despite his hot form for Wales. The Welshman could become a free agent soon.

According to Football Insider, "The 28-year-old has less than six months remaining on his contract at Craven Cottage, and despite their hopes to extend his stay, is increasingly likely to move on... the likes of Crystal Palace, West Ham, Bournemouth, Everton and Leeds are all interested."

It is surprising that, given Wilson's form, there are reportedly no top six teams interested in the player.

Does West Ham United have a chance of signing Harry Wilson?

West Ham United is currently in the relegation zone of the Premier League. If they go down to the Championship, then they can kiss their hopes of signing Wilson goodbye.

There would be concern if he were to join the Hammers that he would not be able to play in his favored position. He is predominantly a right-winger, which is the same as West Ham's captain and star player, Jarrod Bowen. However, Wilson can also play on the left and as an attacking midfielder.

Signing someone who can feature as a left-winger would be a smart move for the Hammers. They currently have Crysensio Summerville, but he has scored four goals in his last five games for the club. He has recently been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, and there is sure to be more interest next summer.

Wilson began his career with Liverpool, but only made two first-team appearances for the Reds. Whilst at the Anfield club, Wilson had multiple loans which included spells at Crewe Alexandra, Hull City, Derby County, Bournemouth, Cardiff City, and Fulham. He then secured a permanent transfer to Fulham in 2022.

Everton or Bournemouth would appear the most attractive options for Wilson right now. They are both currently in the top half of the Premier League. He is also a former Cherries player, but was relegated with them during the 2019/20 season.

He was heavily linked with Leeds United before the start of last season. They appear to be steering away from the relegation zone right now, so a move to Elland Road would appear quite likely. Crystal Palace are losing their manager, Oliver Glasner, at the end of the season, so it could be a gamble for Wilson to head to Selhurst Park.
