Egypt international Omar Marmoush is having a brilliant start to the new season as the 25-year-old has already bagged nine goals and six assists for Eintracht Frankfurt. This includes an impressive brace as well an assist against league leaders Bayern Munich to inspire the home side to a 3-3 comeback draw where Marmoush scored a last-minute equaliser. On top of that, Marmoush scored seventeen goals in the previous season as well, and his blistering pace and world class finishing has already drawn comparisons with his international teammate Mohammad Salah.

Therefore several Premier League clubs such as Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in bringing Marmoush either in the January transfer window or at the end of this season in order to bolster their attack. West Ham are also one of his huge admirers and would be willing to sign him given their goalscoring struggles in the beginning of the season, but could face significant competition from their Premier League rivals to secure the services of the 25-year-old striker. Thus, the Hammers need to line-up alternatives to Omar Marmoush and can consider signing his in-form Eintracht Frankfurt teammate as well.

West Ham should sign £15 million Omar Marmoush's teammate

Last year, Frankfurt signed Hugo Ekitike from French Champions Paris Saint-Germain in a £15 million transfer move and Ekitike showed signs of his promising potential scoring four goals in the previous season. This season, Ekitike has gone strength to strength at Frankfurt and has bagged five goals in all competitions, forming an incredible centre forward partnership with Omar Marmoush. On top of that, the jet-heeled forward's blistering pace, impressive physicality and quality finishing make him a perfect striker to succeed in the Premier League in the long-term.

Further, Ekitike is a similar profile forward as compared to West Ham's preferred transfer target Jhon Duran and the Hammers can sign him for a relatively low transfer fee as well. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether West Ham will decide to enter into transfer talks with Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt for the prolific young goalscorer in the upcoming January transfer window.
