Relegation has meant that West Ham United will need to sell their top players. Mateus Fernandes is now being linked with Real Madrid, and Crysencio Summerville has interest from AC Milan.
According to the journalist, Ramón Álvarez de Mon, if Aurélien Tchouaméni departs Real Madrid, then Jose Mourinho what want Fernandes at Real Madrid.
Mourinho is set to be the next manager at Real Madrid. However, Los Blancos will face competition from the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain for his services.
Despite his form for West Ham, Fernandes was not included in Portugal's roster for the World Cup. With so many big teams interested, there could be a bidding war for Fernandes. Therefore, the Hammers may be able to get the £80 million that they value the player at.
West Ham has some top talent on their roster
Summerville has already been linked with AS Roma and Olympique Marseille this transfer window. Now TEAMtalk has reported that "AC Milan have emerged as serious contenders for his signature, amid rival interest from Tottenham and Aston Villa."
The winger made his debut for the Netherlands last night. He played alongside Donyell Marlen, who is trying to convince Summverille to join him at Roma. The pair also shares the same agent, which could help smooth negotiations for a move to the Serie A side.
Milan is a bigger club than Roma, but they finished fifth in Serie A last season. Therefore, the Rossoneri will be competing in the Europa League. The team from Italy's capital came third and qualified for the Champions League.
There is uncertainty at Milan, as their managerial position is still vacant. There are reports that Oliver Glasner or Andoni Iraola could be their next boss. They could do with signing a top winger, as Rafael Leão and Christian Pulisic both had disappointing campaigns. Leão could also be on his way out of the San Siro, with United, Galatasaray, and Fenerbahce interested in his services.
Hammers fans would not want to see Summerville in a Tottenham shirt. Therefore, they will be hoping to see him transferred to a team abroad rather than to an English rival.
