- West Ham may look to sell English forward Danny Ings this summer.
- Ings has struggled at West Ham since arriving from Aston Villa midway through the 2022/23 season.
West Ham have made a total of eight signings this summer. In terms of attack, West Ham have world class forwards like Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta, Mohammed Kudus as well as new summer signings Cryscencio Summerville and Niclas Fullkrug.
Bowen, Kudus and Paqueta will start in their creative playmaker role and Fullkrug is expected to be the starting centre forward for Julen Lopetegui's side next season. Michail Antonio performed well in the Sunshine State Tour friendly against Crystal Palace and scored a goal as well, thus, Antonio will be the second choice number nine after Fullkrug in the West Ham squad.

However, English forward Danny Ings is the third choice centre forward at the club and will get less playing time this season. Thus, the former Southampton striker will be looking for a transfer move this summer to get more playing time in the upcoming season. According to a recent report from Claret and Hugh, West Ham want to sell Ings this summer.
Ings is 33-years-old and has struggled at West Ham since arriving from Aston Villa midway through the 2022/23 season. At the start of the preseason, Ings opened up on his struggles at West Ham with the prolific striker scoring only four goals and providing two assists in his 52 appearances for West Ham.
Further, Danny Ings has entered into the last year of his West Ham contract. Thus, West Ham will want to sell Danny Ings this summer rather than Ings leaving on a free transfer next summer. The prolific striker starred previously for Southampton and could be interested in joining Southampton again who need an another striker ahead of the upcoming season.
