Omorodion recently joined Chelsea for £35 million from Atletico Madrid. Last season, Omorodion played for Alaves on a season long loan from Atletico and scored nine goals and provided one assist in La Liga.
According to CaughtOffside, Chelsea are currently negotiating with Napoli to sign star striker Victor Osimhen this summer. Therefore, to provide playing time to other young striker's in the squad, Chelsea are trying to secure a season long loan move for them.
Bringing Omorodion on a season long loan move from Chelsea will provide more squad depth to West Ham. Also, Omorodion has great pace and physicality and will be a smart signing for Julen Lopetegui's side.
Hence, it remains to be seen if West Ham bring Samu Omorodion on a season long loan transfer from Chelsea this summer. With three weeks remaining in the transfer window, West Ham can also sell some players to make way for some new signings as well.
