Recently, prolific West Ham centre forward Michail Antonio made a Premier League record for the Hammers after registering an assist on Tomas Soucek's 1-1 equaliser. Since arriving from Nottingham Forest for a transfer fee of £7 million, the 34-year-old has gone strength to strength scoring 67 Premier League goals for West Ham. Alongside that, West Ham's top Premier League goalscorer has provided his 33rd assist, making him the first Hammers star to achieve 100 goal contributions in the Premier League.

"I’m so proud to have played a big part in those moments and to have reached 100 Premier League goals and assists.

While the experienced centre forward has struggled for form and fitness in recent seasons, he still wants to improve in the upcoming matches. Also, new signing Niclas Fullkrug is recovering from his injury picked up during last month's international break and therefore, Antonio is highly likely to start the upcoming match against Ipswich Town. West Ham have struggled to score more goals this season and if Antonio can find the back of the net in the next match, he can get more playing time in the fixtures against Tottenham Hotspurs and Manchester United as well.

Although Ipswich Town are a newly promoted side this season, West Ham will need to put a brilliant display in the attack to take a win from this match. Now it remains to be seen whether manager Julen Lopetegui starts Antonio in the next match as well after his assist against Brentford.
