West Ham came into the second league match facing Crystal Palace in an away fixture at the Selhurst Park. Last season, Palace registered a massive 5-2 win over the Hammers in April, which meant that West Ham couldn't qualify for European football and finished ninth in the Premier League. Big changes were made at West Ham with new manager Julen Lopetegui and eight new signings arriving in the summer transfer window.
Still, earlier this month, Oliver Glasner's Crystal Palace won 3-1 against West Ham in the Sunshine State Tour match. Thus, this was a big game for the Hammers and they displayed a great overall performance to win 2-0 in their first away fixture of the season. On that note, here are three West Ham stars who were brilliant in the win over Crystal Palace.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka
In this game, Wan-Bissaka was expected to make his West Ham debut. However, the 26-year-old was brought in the second half as a substitute around the hour mark. And what a substitution it turned out to be, as the former Manchester United star made a great run down the right flank and passed it to captain Jarrod Bowen, and the ball deflected to come towards Tomas Soucek, who scored the opening goal.
When the Hammers signed Wan-Bissaka, it seemed that they have signed a defensive right back. But, the fullback showed his playmaking capabilities as well, on top of his defending abilities. Thus, manager Julen Lopetegui should start Wan-Bissaka as the first choice right back this season.
