Recently, it was revealed that West Ham want to sell star midfielder James Ward Prowse in this transfer window. Although the 29-year-old midfielder is one of the best set piece specialists in the Premier League, he doesn't create much goal scoring chances from the build up play. Therefore, the Hammers are negotiating with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Carlos Soler this summer.
Soler is a box-to-box midfielder with great passing, who will bring a lot of quality and depth in the West Ham squad. Hence, West Ham are trying to sell Ward Prowse for £25 million, to make way for Soler in the midfield. Ward Prowse joined West Ham from Southampton for £30 million and may return to his former team in this transfer window.
