Since joining West Ham from Championship side Hull City midway through the 2019/20 season, Jarrod Bowen has proven to be one of the club's best signings in recent years. Under the management of David Moyes, Bowen adapted to the Hammers squad quickly and became a reliable forward in the West Ham front three. Further, his consistent performances in the previous five seasons, as well as his winning goal in the UEFA Conference League final, have established him as one of the best West Ham players in the club's history.

In this transfer window, there was a lot of speculation surrounding Bowen that he may leave the club after an underwhelming end to last season's Premier League campaign. Liverpool and Newcastle United were said to be interested in signing the England international; however, West Ham made Bowen the club captain before the start of the season, thus putting an end to the transfer rumors.

Recently, Jarrod Bowen spoke about his West Ham future, saying,

"“I always aim to show what it means to represent West Ham. I hope I stay forever.“"

Bowen revealed that he wants to stay at the London Stadium for a lot of years, which highlights his growing stature in the Hammers squad. In the five matches this season, West Ham have scored six goals, with Bowen scoring in three of them, as he has been the most in-form forward in the West Ham attack under manager Julen Lopetegui. West Ham will face Enzo Maresca's Chelsea in the next Premier League matchday, and Bowen would want to key a player again for the Hammers as he has four goal contributions in nine matches against the Blues.
