West Ham have upped their transfer activity to a whole new level. Recently, the club have agreed a deal to sign Leeds United winger Cryscencio Summerville. West Ham have booked a medical for him to join the Hammers squad for their preseason tour.
Now, another preferred target could also join West Ham by the end of the week. Recently, West Ham started transfer talks with Manchester United for fullback Aaron Wan-Bissaka after the Red Devils moved in to sign Noussair Mazraoui away from the Hammers.

However, there was said to be a slight difference in the negotiations with West Ham offering a £10 million transfer fee which falls short of United's £15 million demand. But, recent reports from TeamTALK, have suggested that it could only be a matter of time when Wan-Bissaka joins West Ham. Further, the report stated Aaron Wan-Bissaka as very keen on the move.
With the current transfer fees involved in the Premier League, a fee of around £15 million for a 26-year-old right back who is entering in his prime is a smart signing. Wan-Bissaka is an instant upgrade on current right back Vladimir Coufal and with his pace, strength and the ability to man marking quality forwards out from the game will improve the Hammers defence massively.
All that remains now is to agree on a transfer fee with Manchester United somewhere between £10-15 million. This is an ambitious move towards improving the starting back four which was a big issue towards the second half of the 2023/24 season. David Moyes's side conceded 74 goals in the league which hampered West Ham's chances to secure European football after being inside the top six until January.
Thus, West Ham should wrap this deal quickly as well to move on to other priority signings. The last few days have been very eventful with the Hammers signing Cryscencio Summerville and now on the verge of adding Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Julen Lopetegui's squad as well.
