After three consecutive defeats at the London Stadium against Aston Villa, Manchester City and Chelsea, West Ham prepared to face Ipswich Town before the international break. Before the match, West Ham were fourteenth in the league table with five points after six matches, one point more than fifteenth placed Ipswich Town.
Further, Kieran McKenna's side were coming on the back of four consecutive draws including their recent 2-2 draw with Unai Emery's Aston Villa. Therefore, it was an important match for the Hammers who put up their best performance of the season by registering a massive 4-1 win in the seventh matchday.
Hence, on that note, here are the three standout performers for West Ham in the 4-1 home win over Ipswich Town.

Jarrod Bowen
This hasn't been a great start to the new season for Bowen, who was made the club captain as well following his brilliant performances for West Ham in the previous five seasons. Recently, the England national team also decided to leave the 27-year-old forward from their UEFA Nations League squad which signified Bowen's struggles while simultaneously managing the leadership and goalscoring roles for Julen Lopetegui's side.
However, this match was a perfect comeback into form for the UEFA Conference League winner, who won the ball possession after a misplaced pass from Kalvin Phillips and made a good run into the box and laid off a perfect pass for Michail Antonio, who scored his first Premier League goal in the new season. At the beginning of the second half, Jarrod Bowen made another encouraging run down the right flank and took advantage of the empty spaces near the box with a world-class finish to score the third goal of the match.
Twenty minutes later, Bowen again created space down the right side and gave a key pass to Lucas Paqueta, who placed the ball into the open goal to give West Ham a 4-1 win. Bowen was the best player in the West Ham attack and scored one goal and provided two assists to take the three points as well as the Man of the Match award.
