After successive draws against Millwall and Queens Park Rangers, West Ham got back to winning ways with a 6-0 thumping of Lincoln City. The Hammers were helped massively by the Imps being in self-destruction, as two of their players got sent off in the first half.
West Ham Player Ratings
Mads Hermansen - 6: Had little to do as Lincoln could not offer much, being down to nine men.
Joel Veltman - 7: Was on the end of a late challenge from Tom Hamer, which saw the Lincoln player sent off in the opening stages of the game. Veltman contributed to many West Ham attacks.
Konstantinos Mavropanos - 8: Mavropanos ensured West Ham went into the break with the lead with his headed goal. The Greek international now has five Championship goals in nine games this season.
Max Kilman - 7: With West Ham controlling the game, Kilman also got forward on occasion. He spread the ball about with his passing and played some excellent through balls.
Morato - 6: Was taken off at half-time as the Hammers could afford to be more attacking.
Jarrod Bowen (c) - 9: Bowen was pulled down by Conor McGrandles, which saw the second Imps player sent off. The West Ham captain then set up Mavropanos' goal from a corner. Then squeezed in a goal for himself. Bowen also set up Tomas Soucek's first goal.
Arne Engels - 6: Kept the game ticking with his passing.
Mohamadou Kante - 7: Back from his suspension, Kante spurned a great chance to score from a corner. However, his passing was excellent.
Manor Solomon - 6: Given the circumstances, Solomon should have been more effective in this game.
Pablo - 5: Missed chances but did get his goal, as he headed in from Edvin Austbo's corner.
Joel Piroe - 6: Linked up well with his teammates and set up Austbo's goal. However, the striker would have been disappointed not to have got on the scoresheet himself.
Off the Bench
Edvin Austbo - 8: Came off the bench at the break and fired in West Ham's second. He also put some excellent crosses into the box and set up Pablo's goal.
Taty Castellanos - 6: Got into some dangerous areas.
Airidas Golambeckis - 6: The young player got a decent amount of minutes when replacing Mavropanos in the 58th minute.
Kyle Walker-Peters - 6: As Veltman recently returned from injury, it was good that Walker-Peters was able to replace him in the second half.
Tomas Soucek - 8: Was rusty against QPR, but has since signed a new contract. Soucek came off the bench to bag a brace.
