The international break may have been a bit of a slog for many West Ham United fans. The club has not played since the 2-2 draw with Millwall on September 19. Also, Jarrod Bowen is no longer in consideration for England after staying with the Hammers despite relegation.
Other West Ham players were selected for their countries, with Dinos Mavropanos starring for Greece. The Greeks were undefeated as they beat Serbia and Germany; they then drew with the Netherlands and the Germans too. Mavropanos started all of Greece's games but had to be substituted in their final match. However, he has revealed that there was no serious injury.
Mavropanos was praised for his performance in the 1-0 win over Germany, which marked Jurgen Klopp's first defeat with Die Mannschaft. Against the Netherlands, Mavropanos was reunited with former Hammer Crysencio Summerville, and the match finished 2-2. Greece are currently second to the Dutch in their Nations League group, but only on goals scored.

Airidas Golambeckis, Finlay Herrick, Ezra Mayers, and Divine Mukasa were all called up for the England U20s. They did well, beating Germany, France, and Italy. Mukasa also got promoted to the Three Lions' U21s after the 3-1 win over the Italians. The West Ham midfielder was left on the bench as Lee Carsley's side drew 0-0 with Slovakia. However, he then played the second half against Ireland, but England lost 3-1. The Three Lions had already qualified for the U21 European Championships after the result against Slovakia.
