Craig Bellamy, as manager of Wales, will be looking to try and keep out Cristiano Ronaldo in the Nations League tomorrow night.
The Welshman played for West Ham United from 2007 to 2009. His time with the Hammers was marred by injuries, which meant he played just 24 times for the club, scoring nine times and providing one assist.
Bellamy left West Ham for Manchester City, before also playing for Liverpool and Cardiff City, before retiring. The former Wales international worked in Cardiff's academy before managing Anderlecht's Under-21s. He then worked alongside his former City teammate Vincent Kompany as Anderlecht's first team's assistant. Bellamy then followed Kompany to Burnley before becoming the manager of Wales.
His start to life as Wales manager was very positive, being undefeated in his first nine games. However, they then suffered a 4-3 defeat to Belgium. They ended up failing to qualify for the World Cup and lost in the playoffs to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In 20 games in charge of Wales, Bellamy has won eight, drawn six, and lost six. There have often been rumours that he will return to the club game and was linked with Burnley.
This international break, Wales has difficult Nations League fixtures. It starts with playing Portugal away from home. They still have Cristiano Ronaldo leading their line. Ronaldo may now be 41, but he still managed three goals in five games at the World Cup over the summer.
After playing Portugal, Wales will then face Denmark in another away tie. This will be followed by a home fixture against Norway. Their Bellamy's side will take on another star of the sport, Erling Haaland. Wales' international break will conclude as they host the Danes.
These will be very difficult fixtures for Wales, but they are to be expected when you are in League A of the competition. Bellamy is only 47, which is very young for a manager. Maybe one day we will see him in charge of West Ham.
