West Ham duo David Moyes and Angelo Ogbonna have been nominated for Premier League manager and player of the month for November.

During the month of November, West ham played three Premier League matches and won all three. David Moyes guided his team past tricky fixtures against Fulham, Sheffield United and Aston Villa.

The Scottish manager was without his star player Michail Antonio but was not deterred. Moyes threw Sebastien Haller back into the team and fans saw a substantial improvement in the striker performances. The best moment of the month was Haller’s winning goal against Sheffield United.

West Ham have seen a continued improvement under. Moyes during his second term in charge. Ever since the club’s dramatic victory against Chelsea during Project Restart’ there has been no looking back. The team is currently fifth in the Premier League table, and if the fortunes continue in the same manner, it won’t be long until Moyes is offered a new contract.

Angelo Ogbonna has also been a contributing factor not only to the club’s success last month but throughout the whole season thus far. The defender played a key role in West Ham’s two clean sheets against Fulham and Sheffield United and was also one of the stars against Villa.

Against Fulham and Sheffield United, the Hammers did find themselves on the back foot, and the Italian defender made sure they weren’t punished. Ogbonna put in many top tackles and vital clearances to protect the goal.

The club may have conceded against Villa, but Ogbonna still had a solid defensive performance other than the deflection the ball took him off for their goal. The 33-year-old was even on the scoresheet with a thumping header from a Jarrod Bowen corner in the first two minutes of the game.
