Promising West Ham attacker Nathan Holland is currently the subject of a number offers from Premier League and Championship clubs.

Nathan Holland has only played a handful of times for the West Ham first team but is highly-rated by the club and looks to have a bright future. Last season was Holland suffered from multiple injuries which certainly hindered his progress.

Now the Hammers have a lot of attacking options in the team; there is little room for Holland. Andriy Yarmolenko, Pablo Fornals, Michail Antonio, Felipe Anderson and Grady Diangana are all ahead of the youngster in the pecking order.

This congestion in the first-team does leave Holland in a precarious position. In the Premier League 2, Holland contributed eighteen goals in only thirteen appearances for the Hammers. So there is a case that the 22-year-old is too good for that level but too far behind to be given a chance in the first team.

The offers on the table for Holland are both permanent and temporary deals. Championship clubs  Bournemouth and QPR, as well as Premier League clubs Brighton and Burnley are interested in signing Holland.

West Ham are said to be weighing up their options regarding Holland. There is a need for the forward to regain his fitness so the club can make a judgement on his skill level before deciding what to do. Holland has potential and has shown it for the youth side and on loan moves to lower league sides, but is yet to display it on the biggest stage.

The Hammers do have time on their side as Holland has a contract until 2022, so a loan deal could be the best option for the club. The highest level Holland has played at consistently is League One, and therefore a loan to the Championship would be a great test of his skill. The 22-year-old could show if he is a Grady Diangana or a Martin Samuelsen.

Selling Holland seems to be a very irresponsible move. The player would not command a significant transfer fee or would save the club much in terms of his wages. But with the way players have been leaving the club, it would not be surprising to see the club cash in.
