Midfield

Sanchez (Release)

Carlos Sanchez‘s contract will be up, therefore… he needs to be let go, plain and simple

Rice (In)

As long as the Hammers can keep him at the club, then he needs to stay 100%. Declan Rice can be a future leader in this club if he wants and he is key to the midfield going forward.

Snodgrass (In)

If Oggy is a fine wine, then Robert Snodgrass is a fine Scotch or Whiskey. With age he brings leadership but he also brings an engine that the club needs at the moment.

Wilshere (Out)

Someday, if not already, Jack Wilshere will have a book or a movie about his career with a “what could have been” theme. He is hogging up the wages and needs to be set free elsewhere.

Noble (In)

Our aging skipper is reaching the end of the tunnel but he still has time. He might not be the every week captain but his leadership will be needed from beyond the pitch as well. The words sell and Noble should never be in the same sentence.

Fornals (In)

Before the Coronavirus took out the West Ham season Pablo Fornals was just gearing up to finish the season with Hammer of the Year like numbers. Behind Rice, he should be the top name on the team sheet.

Lanzini (Out)

The Jewel has lost his shine and unfortunately for Manuel Lanzini, it’s time to go. If the rumors are true about the club only having a small transfer budget, his selling could add a few coin to that number.

Soucek (In)

If the season ends and West Ham stay in the EPL, then Tomas Soucek needs to stay a Hammer. He is the needed player to take over Nobes’ job in the midfield for years to come.

Forwards

Bowen (In)

There is a lot of promise to young Jarrod Bowen that has yet to be seen. I’m not even going to entertain the fact that he should be sold. Like Rice, Fabs, and so many others, 100% in.

Antonio (In)

Michail Antonio might be getting up there in age and his injuries might be piling up but his abilities on the pitch and what he can do to the opposition are still very much-needed.

Anderson (In)

Felipe Anderson might not be having a stellar season at the club but alas, he still is world-class and needs to stay. His potential is enough to keep him around as the left side of the pitch will need him.

Yarmolenko (Out)

Things have never really gotten going for Andriy Yarmolenko. From injury to injury and even with a feel good story in-between, his time has come and the Hammers should look to off load him this summer.

Ajeti (In but buy another striker)

If you are looking for a hot take, Albian Ajeti is it. The Swiss international has been giving little chance and when he has it hasn’t been much. Move him down the line, let him grow, and bring in a striker to help him along in his progression.

Haller(In)

Sebastien Haller has yet to fully peak at West Ham, let alone football, and he is key to the Hammers success going forward. In the proper formation with the right help this guy is easily a 20 goal threat going forward.

Next. West Ham: Philipp Max Could Solve Left back Issues. dark

There you have it… out of the 27 current first team players potentially 8 should be leaving the club just like last season. The key piece in this is who comes in but with these departures comes openings and potential for growth and excitement.
