The 5 best West Ham players to be quarantined with.
The coronavirus pandemic has shaken the world, resulting in everyone staying indoors and avoiding social contact but who would be the top 5 best West Ham players past or present to be stuck with for weeks on end?
West Ham has hosted a series of questionable, yet entertaining players over the years making this selection possibly easier than thinking of who not to be stuck with but with so many choices… who would make the cut? Follow along to find out!
5. Robert Snodgrass
The Scotsman is clearly a lovely bloke and can seemingly have a laugh off the pitch. He’d have all sorts of stories up his sleeve about the different personalities he’s played with at different times throughout his long career and I’m sure he wouldn’t hold back in telling you the fine-grain details.
It also wouldn’t just be playing FIFA with Robert Snodgrass and I reckon you could talk about lots of things other than football and I reckon he likes a drink as well. All in all, a rightful good few weeks or months, pandemic depending.
4. Andy Carroll
Andy’s seemingly had a lot of time at home over the years as he’s always injured so I think he’d know how to entertain himself in times of boredom. He also seems like a laugh and during his time at West Ham, he was caught on wild nights out on a number of occasions so I think he’d be quite fun to quarantine with.
Andy Carroll always seemed to have a good relationship with the fans despite not being the greatest player and I think he’d be quite relaxed and not on the edge the whole time. Just don’t ask him to go climbing any hotel room walls ok?
3. Rio Ferdinand
Whilst not being most famous for his time at West Ham, Rio Ferdinand is an icon of the English game and has won countless trophies in English football. It would be amazing to hear some of the stories of playing in cup finals and for England as well as winning the Champions League.
He is now a decent pundit and still a household name so it would be cool to tell everyone afterward that you had quarantined with him. I think he’d also have a good taste in films and still shows respect for West Ham and the fans.
2. Michail Antonio
Antonio has been a fan favorite for years now and I think he’d be great fun to quarantine with. He’s obviously into FIFA so you could do some sort of tournament to pass the time when you see him in interviews he’s always laughing and making jokes and I think the time would pass quickly with him.
Michail Antonio clearly loves West Ham (and hates Tottenham) and I think he’d have a good taste in music and films. Not to mention, if you need a solid workout routine while on quarantine… this guy might have a few tricks up his sleeves.
1. Declan Rice
Declan Rice is only 21 and I feel we’d just get on well immediately. Another one who likes FIFA and I feel that he’d know some good things on Netflix to watch. He can also clearly have a laugh and you could spend lots of the quarantine time persuading him to stay at West Ham for the rest of his career.
Also if he got annoying you could wait until he fell asleep and scare him just as Mason Mount did over the Summer. All good fun things and you really couldn’t go wrong. From funny to wild these 5 make the cut of quarantine and chill friends. Who would make yours?
