A room full of Midfielders

Lanzini

The West Ham Jewel has been out more often than he has been on, but remember to think happy thoughts. Manuel Lanzini has been one of those midfielders this season that isn’t afraid to take on any player and has begun reconnecting well as of late.

Snodgrass

Mr. McMessi has once again defied the odds stacked against him. As Robert Snodgrass ages, he is like a fine bottle of scotch getting more aggressive and never backing down. He for sure has shown the most heart so far this season.

Sanchez

I did say this had to stay upbeat and happy right? Ok, ok I get it so, in the case of Carlos Sanchez, his attention to detail on getting his hair perfect is on point. Whether its cornrows or the afro, it’s been good all year.

Noble

Oh, Captain my Captain! Mark Noble continues to age like Queen Elizabeth herself, only getting better and with more pizzazz. Mr. West Ham’s ability to command the midfield and the entire squad has been instrumental at times to see a winning side through.

Fornals

Although Pablo Fornals might not be in the same form as he was during the U21 Euros last season, he still has shown glimpses of it. He’s young people and he will grow with time. His want and desire are there, the skill just needs to catch up.

Wilshere

First and foremost, West Ham United would not have gotten into the next round of the Carabao Cup if it were not for Jack Wilshere. People seem to forget that he is still the same player that commanded the midfield for England and it has popped up a time or two this season.

Rice

Without a doubt the most all-around talented midfielder on this Hammers side. Declan Rice may be young, but you wouldn’t know it. His best attribute so far has been to move players along and keep them honest. At 20, he’s doing more for this club than most others with twice the experience.
