FIFA 19 has only been out a matter of weeks but there’s a second TOTW card for West Ham. Before, it was Yarmolenko, now it’s the opposite winger Anderson.

After losing the first 4 games it was looking pretty dire for West Ham. The new signings were struggling to settle and the team just wasn’t firing at all. However since the international break there’s been a change at the club, and the team is proving themselves along with some outstanding individual performances. And that’s being recognised.

Despite the press being full of how United are crumbling, and not much about our good performance, Anderson still received praise. His goal showed incredible flair and nerve, and his all round performance was very impressive. So that’s why he’s been recognised by the new FIFA game in this weeks TOTW.

More from Green Street Hammers - West Ham

Anderson’s card is a special One’s To Watch edition, which automatically updates to get the TOTW cards he could achieve through the season. As such they’re pretty pricey, and as Anderson continues to perform, we could see it become even more popular as the weeks go on. However buying and selling at the right time can be tricky, because the prices over the past few days have fluctuated as people tried to predict who would be in the TOTW.

The Brazilian is actually the first of that series of cards to make the TOTW, showing it’s not just West Ham fans who think he is showing promise. He has been cited by many a pundit as someone who has more ability than he has shown, but a player who could make the national side if he put hard work in and the side performs around him.

If the Hammers continue to push up the league we could see more of the side in the TOTW, or maybe get a midseason upgrade as well. Who knows, maybe they’ll start to rate Declan Rice fairly? Or give Arnautovic the upgrade he deserves?
