It’s not even fully released yet, but FIFA 19 is dominating social media. After the release of the first TOTW it’s good to see a West Ham player in there.

Given that West Ham haven’t even been at the races for most of the Premier League season, it’s understandable that we haven’t seen many of our players in people’s best teams of the week. Except for maybe Fabianski, because he’s been incredible. But this week Yarmolenko started to shine, and it caught the eye of those at EA and the FIFA 19 team.

Those of you shouting, but it’s even out yet, you’re right. Only those who bought the early access preview, or if you want to login to the web app to trade some cards, have the ability to access packs and play for new cards. And the in form Yarmolenko does look pretty nice.

More from Green Street Hammers - West Ham

He’s in some good company, and it is pretty annoying to admit that Payet card also looks like it’d be great fun to have, and it’s deserved. There was also some call for Arnautovic to be in the TOTW as well, but one Hammer in the first week is good going.

This in form makes him the highest rated Hammer on the game, and his technical attributes are what really catch the eye. With shooting dribbling and passing all above 80 we could see the Ukranian being a very useful card early on. With shot power, long shots and curve all at 87 it’s going to be very annoying watching him cut inside your left back and bend it into the top corner on repeat.

With the game launching properly next week you will be able to catch site expert Adam on twitch playing regularly, as we look to expand on our visibility across a number of different sites. If you would like to play him, get in touch (our username is greensthammers) and have fun!
