Out of the current three loanees, I was kind of surprised about this one the most. Burke has been on loan a few times before, and I think he’s ready for the Premier League. The fact we still have Fonte in our ranks but not Burke is annoying to most fans, and I think it could cost us points.

Burke played in the last three Bolton games as well, forming a central column with his parent-club teammate. However, surprisingly for a defender, he has been getting most of the praise. Many felt that he might struggle to hold down a place whilst on loan, but he has been lauded by fans and pundits alike.

Bolton are set to struggle this season after being promoted, so Burke will certainly be busy. However if he keeps this up then Bolton may have a chance of staying in the league. The fans certainly want to keep him.
