Now, former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has revealed his prediction for the Premier League season as well. Asked about the team that will qualify for Europe apart from the Champions League, Carragher predicted West Ham to qualify for European football this season above teams like Newcastle United and Tottenham. Speaking about West Ham, Carragher said,
"A bit of a disappointment to start the way they have but I actually like some of the signings that they’ve made. I’m saying a European contender, they were that under David Moyes, they won a European trophy so you know they’ve been there or thereabouts."
