Portuguese winger Jota Silva is said to be among the ones to watch out for this summer after an incredible 2023/24 campaign. The 24-year-old playing for Vitoria De Guimaraes scored 15 goals alongside providing ten assists as he was among the best left wingers in the Portuguese league last season.

This, kept all the progress made by West Ham on the Summerville deal in the meanwhile go unnoticed leading West Ham to quickly move to sign Summerville avoiding any other club's last minute bid for the Dutch forward.

Also, this helped in agreeing the deal at £25 million which is a win win situation for West Ham both from a sporting as well as economic point of view. With this signing, Tim Steidten has again proved his quality when it comes to making shrewd signings in the transfer window.
