Since former manager David Moyes left West Ham at the end of the last season, there has been speculation of big changes in West Ham's squad as well. New manager Julen Lopetegui has arrived and is trying to implement a new possession based style of football in order to build a balanced side to aim for a top six finish in the Premier League.

After signing Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham and Max Kilman in early July, West Ham have signed Cryscencio Summerville, Niclas Fullkrug and Guido Rodriguez as well addressing several key positions in the squad. Now, some of the experienced players like Aaron Cresswell, Vladimir Coufal, Tomas Soucek, Kurt Zouma, Danny Ings won't be in the starting lineup mostly and will have to take on a squad role next season.

According to Fanatik, Turkish club Fenerbahce are interested in West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek. The report claims that Fenerbahce board want an experienced player like Soucek to improve their midfield for the upcoming season.

Jose Mourinho became the manager of Fenerbahce in June and since then, the Turkish club has signed Caglar Soyuncu, Allan Saint-Maximin, Youssef En-Nesyri to bolster their squad. Now, they view Soucek as an ideal addition to their midfield in order to compete for the League as well as European football next season.

Soucek may be open to the idea of playing under Jose Mourinho as the starting midfielder. For West Ham, they can receive around £20 million for Soucek which they can use to improve the defence. Thus, it can be a win win situation for both West Ham and Soucek. Now, it remains to be seen if Fenerbahce submit an official bid to sign Soucek from West Ham this summer.
