Fabrizio Romano backs Tim Steidten and West Ham amid lack of new signings
- Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has backed Tim Steidten and West Ham in the transfer window.
- Fabrizio Romano revealed West Ham's plans in the transfer window.
It has been three weeks since, West Ham finalized the signing of £40 million Max Kilman from Wolves. After that, it has been a struggle for the Hammers to bring in new players at the club.
West Ham secured the signing of Brazilian talent Luis Guilherme as a right wing option and brought in Wes Foderingham on a free transfer as a third keeper as well. Still, Julen Lopetegui's side need to bring in a striker along with a centre-back and a right-back as the bare minimum to improve the squad.
West Ham have involved in negotiations for a lot of ideal targets like Aston Villa forward Jhon Duran, Nice's centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo and Manchester United's right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, however, no deal has been completed yet. Meanwhile, Tim Steidten and the board have attempted to bid for Noussair Mazraoui and Youssouf Fofana as well but those players are already considering joining other clubs.
This has raised eyebrows among a large section of West Ham fans who are questioning Tim Steidten's process this summer. Recently, transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano while speaking to GIVEMESPORT, backed Tim Steidten and West Ham to succeed in assembling a quality squad by the end of the transfer window.
He said,
"We know how West Ham United work, they always have several options. They like to negotiate for several players in the same position, and then close the deal as soon as they are convinced…

I think West Ham will do something else, for sure, on the market in that position left sided winger."
Fabrizio has assured the Hammers to keep faith in the board regarding transfers. Also, last summer, Tim Steidten's masterclass saw West Ham signing Ajax's two star players, Edson Alvarez and Mohammed Kudus for a combined fee of just £72 million.
This summer, Steidten can again do the same as he is staying in Florida regarding the transfer activity of the club. His recent bid for Mazraoui saw West Ham speed up their pursuit of landing Manchester United's Aaron Wan-Bissaka who seems close to joining West Ham.
Hence, West Ham need to keep their faith in Steidten and with a month still left in the June transfer window, West Ham will assemble a top squad able to compete for a top six spot in the Premier League next season.
