West Ham are lining up alternatives to Jean-Clair Todibo as the Frenchman looks to give priority to Juventus and wait for them before thinking of a move. Thus, one of the alternatives to the centre-back is RB Salzburg defender Oumar Solet.
The young defender who is French as well like his compatriot Todibo, missed the friendly 4-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday. Further, the club stated on their official website that Solet was among a number of players missing the game due to various reasons.
With the Todibo deal looking less likely, Solet seems interested to sign for West Ham and won't cost a big transfer fee as well. Also, with Max Kilman, Nayef Aguerd and Kostas Mavropanos available options with Lopetegui, signing a young talent to provide cover for the starters is a smart idea.
