West Ham United are 'massive' as the song goes. Inevitably for a club of West Ham's size, there are some notable celebrity Hammers fans. These come from many areas, such as music, acting, and other sports.

Famous West Ham United supporters

Danny Dyer

Many believe that Dyer, who is Jarrod Bowen's father-in-law, is the reason that the star player stayed with the club despite relegation. Dyer was born in Custom House and had been a lifelong supporter of the club. He has been a regular at both Upton Park and the London Stadium. The actor regularly plays a typical East London geezer, in roles such as Mick Carter in EastEnders.

Ben Shephard

Shephard has been a staple of television in the UK, as a presenter on Good Morning Britain and the quiz show Tipping Point. He played a big role in the final game at Upton Park, where he interviewed the likes of Mark Noble after the 3-2 victory over Manchester United.

Ray Winstone

Similar to Dyer, Winstone often plays the typical Cockney in his acting roles. Winstone has appeared in much West Ham content on the club's official channels.

Steve Harris

Harris is in the band, Iron Maiden, which was founded in a pub in Stratford. The Cart and Horses was where they played many of their early shows. If you go there now, there is a lot of heavy metal memorabilia.

James Cordon

Cordon is another actor who has used his West Ham fandom in roles. He plays Smithy in Gavin and Stacey, where he is a Hammers fan. Cordon is friends with former West Ham players, including Mark Noble and Declan Rice.

Keira Knightley

Knightley who starred in Bend it like Beckham, has regularly spoken of her fandom of West Ham in interviews.

Russell Brand

Brand used to be a regular at Upton Park, and even kissed Sam Allardyce and Slaven Bilic on the cheek after victories. However, since recent scandals, Brand has not been seen at the London Stadium or appeared in much West Ham content.

Louisa Johnson

Louisa won the X-Factor in 2015, during the final season at Upton Park. She has continued to be a regular at the London Stadium.

Kevin Mitchell

Many notable boxers such as Frank Bruno and Lennox Lewis are also West Ham fans. However, Mitchell is probably the biggest as he nicknamed The Hammer. He also fought Michael Katsidis at Upton Park. He was regularly seen in the Boleyn Pub before West Ham games at the ground.

Mark Wright

A lot of the cast of The Only Way Is Essex are West Ham fans. Wright also played for West Ham at the youth level. He went on to have a solid non-league career and, surprisingly, made a comeback in 2020, when he played for Crawley Town. He even came on as a substitute in a shock win over Leeds United in the FA Cup.

Billy Horschel

The golfer Horschel started supporting West Ham after watching the film Green Street. On his golf bag, which is claret and blue, he has the club's badge. He even celebrated with Noble and Rice after winning at Wentworth.
