West Ham received high praise from Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, ahead his side’s trip to the London Stadium on Sunday.
David Moyes has guided West Ham to 4th in the Premier League table, top of their Europa League group and through to the quarter-final of the Carabao Cup building on last season’s successes.
Klopp, who has also done a fantastic job at Liverpool winning the Premier League, Champions League and turning Mohamed Salah into one of the best players in world football in his six year reign, is well aware of the progress the Hammers have made under Moyes and admitted enjoying watching the East London club.
Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp, has complimented West Ham and the work done by David Moyes since his re-appointment ahead of the big game between the two this weekend.
Klopp said this on David Moyes:
"“He gets better and better and better, that’s how I say it! I don’t know if he reinvented himself, but it’s absolutely incredible. Everybody who watches West Ham knows it’s now a full package, high in the table.”"
The German continued saying,
"“You watch them and it’s fun. They are a high intensity team. They have top strikers.”"
Liverpool were believed to be interested in Jarrod Bowen over the summer, Klopp singled out the winger as one of his favourites in the West Ham team. Could Liverpool make a move for Bowen in the summer? The Irons will be hoping they won’t. Klopp said,
"“I like Bowen a lot, he made his way up from Hull and showed the Premier League what kind of player he is.”"
David Moyes also praised Liverpool admitting that his West Ham side will find it hard to continue their unbeaten run ahead of the international break saying,
“I think they’ve got a really good team and they are obviously going to challenge for all the big titles this year. We go into the game believing in how we’re playing. We know they’ll rise to the challenge too and it’ll be a tough game.”
He continued, “We will try and give them a difficult game. We need them to have an off day but we need to be fully on our game.”
