Opposition Preview

Team news:

Manchester United have a number of fringe players out injured including Amad Diallo, Dean Henderson and Phil Jones. Marcus Rashford is still out with a long-term injury, though Edinson Cavani looks set to return and should be in the squad.

Recent form:

WDWWL

Manchester United are unbeaten in the league and have scored the joint most (11) so far. Despite an upset in the Champions league, they are formidable opponents and will be looking to bounce back against West Ham.

Key men:

Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw are standout players, but the Manchester United squad is filled with talent. Their one weakness is in midfield, where Fred can sometimes be a liability – West Ham will have to exploit that.

Predicted XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Pogba, Fernandes, Sancho, Greenwood, Ronaldo.

Match Prediction:
West Ham United 1 – 2 Manchester United
