15th: Norwich City

The last promoted team to be mentioned in these predictions is the Canaries from Norwich. This may be a bold take having Norwich not go straight back down this season but it’s one I’ll stand by. I think the Canaries have had a great window so far that could help them maintain some consistency in the Premier League.

While a lot of people will point out they lost their leading assist man from last season Emi Buendia, I believe it was still a good window for them. Bringing in Milot Rashica and Josh Sargent from Werder Bremen should surely help make up for the lost assists and goals Buendia provided. They also signed Chelsea youngster Billy Gilmour on loan which will help solidify that central midfield area. In addition to Gilmour in the middle of the field will be Pierre Lees-Melou who was bought from OGC Nice.

The Canaries also dipped into Greece making the loan signing of Dimitrios Giannoulis permanent and buying attacker Christos Tzolis, both from PAOK.

With all these new signings and key players Teemu Pukki, Todd Cantwell, and Max Aarons staying, I think Norwich will find some unusual success in the top flight this year.
