17th: Burnley

No, this won’t be the year Burnley get relegated. With their only notable transfer business being the signing of center back Nathan Collins from Stoke City there isn’t much change to the squad. But I ultimately think that will be enough to keep this team up.

Chris Wood has quietly had four straight seasons of double digit Premier League goals and I see him extending that streak to five this year. The help from Dwight McNeil out wide setting Wood up will boost him to that 10+ goal mark he seemingly has on lock now. Those two and another season of James Tarkowski, Ben Mee, and Nick Pope at the back for Burnley is all they need to be back for the 2022/23 Premier League campaign.
