18th: Watford

Another newly promoted club I have going straight back down is Watford. The Hornets had an impressive Championship season leading to them coming right back to the Premier League after a year absence. Watford have been busy this summer with some of their more notable additions being Emmanuel Dennis from Club Brugge, Imran Louza from FC Nantes, Joshua King from Everton, and Danny Rose from Spurs.

If Watford want to stay up this year they will need to keep hold of Ismaila Sarr and have some big seasons from their new strikers. Even with good seasons from them, the Hornets defense could be the let down for them this year.

Depending where Watford stands come the January transfer window I could see them calling it in and selling Ismaila Sarr if the right bid comes in. This should be an interesting season for the Hornets and I’m definitely not looking forward to watching Troy Deeney play against West Ham again since he always seems to score against us.
