1st: Chelsea

To finish off this entire prediction article is crowning Chelsea as the 2021/22 Premier League title winners. The Blues looked a whole different team after Thomas Tuchel came in to replace Frank Lampard and I don’t think it was a coincidence. After Tuchel took over Chelsea went 11-5-3 in the Premier League and 9-1-3 in the Champions League. Not to mention they won the Champions League against Premier League champs Man City.

A lot of Chelsea’s squad was first year Premier League players last season. Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Thiago Silva, and Edouard Mendy were all new signings who had never played in the Premier League before. With them all having a full season under their belt and the new addition of prolific striker Romelu Lukaku, I don’t see how you stop them.

Tuchel made this team a rock at the back with an attack that looks like it can score every time they’re in the opposing teams box. Counting those four attackers I just mentioned and Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic, this team has never ending options to run out each game.

They also have one of the most solid holding midfield partnerships in the league between Euro 2020 winner Jorginho and N’golo Kante.

Factoring all these things in, it’s going to be very hard to stop this team. I don’t really think anyone will consistently either, which is why I have them taking home the title this year.
