20th: Brentford

Coming in last this year I have the Bees. Even with the top scorer in the Championship last year Ivan Toney, 31 goals in 45 games, I don’t see their squad being strong enough to compete with most of these Premier League teams.

The Bees did do some spending so far this summer bringing in midfielder Frank Onyeka from Midtjylland, defender Kristoffer Ajer from Celtic, and winger Yoanne Wissa from Lorient. Onyeka is an interesting signing as he brings Champions League experience to the West London side with six appearances in the competition with Midtjylland.

If Brentford want to stay up they will need big seasons again from Toney and attackers Sergi Canos and Bryan Mbuemo. I hope the Bees prove me wrong but I just can’t see a successful season from them.
