Someone West Ham could use from every team out at the Euros
The group stages at the Euros have been completed thrillingly. From the departing teams, here is someone for West Ham to look at for the future.
Don’t worry, readers, the Euros will start back up in just a day, and we can all go back to hoping and dreaming of glory for our countries. As the round of 16 begins, eight teams have started their holidays early. In a fantasy yet realistic world, we look at who West Ham could use.
Group A:
Eliminated Team: Turkey
Orkun Kokcu is a tough, calm, and dynamic central midfielder playing for Feyenoord in the Netherlands. One for flair, Kokcu made a scoring debut at the age of 17 and has been consistent for them since joining in 2017, scoring eight times and assisting ten times. He is on the books at Feyenoord until the summer of 2025, but West Ham could join Arsenal, Leeds, and Leicester in watching the midfielder closely.

Group B:
Eliminated Teams: Finland and Russia
The Finnish international Glen Kamara has come a long way since his days at Southend United. When not on international duty, Kamara plays for Rangers in the SPL. Week in and out, he is continually one of the first names on the team sheet. The 25-year-old was outstanding during Finland’s run into the Euros, but that’s where it stopped. He has been linked to Arsenal, but West Ham could certainly use his skills in the midfield as they prepare for European competitions.
Honorable Mention: Onni Valakari
Artem Dzyuba is a veteran of everything Russia, and if age is just a number, he’s your man. Dzyuba came onto the scene in 2006 when many of you were still in diapers or a lot less gray. He has scored 137 goals over his 15-year career. He has also scored just under 30 times in 50 appearances for his country, and he’s not slowing down. Remember when I stated this section might hold fantasy-type values, this is it. West Ham lacks strikers, so you tell me which you would prefer.
