Tammy Abraham

West Ham are being linked with a summer move for the young English striker Tammy Abraham, who so far this season has six goals and two assists to his name.

Abraham currently plays for Chelsea but has made it very clear he is unhappy with the game time he is getting under Thomas Tuchel, more often than not playing less than a half – and generally only playing 20 minutes.

The 23 year old had a very good campaign last season, scoring 15 goals in 34 appearances finishing the season only one goal behind Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero and four goals ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min.

Abraham’s transfer value is around £40 million (via Transfermarkt) but there is a good chance, if Chelsea were to sell him, this fee would be less due to him being so low in the pecking order under Tuchel.

Another reason West Ham are linked so heavily with the England international is because of his friendship with Hammer’s captain Declan Rice and loanee Jesse Lingard, who could be influential in the transfer proceedings.

Stats website WhoScored have given Abraham an average match rating of 7.11/10 in games he has started, meaning he has a better average game rating than Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and fellow countryman Danny Ings.
