West Ham United once again picked up all three points after a huge win against Leeds United at the London Stadium. Another solid performance from the squad pushed the Hammers up to 5th in the table, with a game in hand over 4th place Chelsea.

As we look at the rest of the schedule for this season, as there are only 11 matches left to be played for West Ham, you can be fairly certain that the Irons will be fighting for a spot in the top 6 till the very end of the season.

Although you could argue that many of the other clubs in and around the Irons position have deeper squads, I think we have reached the point where David Moyes and this team have earned the respect of many of the clubs around them. West Ham are here to stay.

This West Ham team have the passion, desire, and mentality to push a European finish over the line this season as the results simply keep coming.

You always thought that this West Ham team would have a great shot at getting Europe as the season went on. However, there was always a slight worry in the back of my head that we would eventually see some kind of drop off in form and work rate. That has not been the case.

After every setback, this team responds. This is a group of players who have the right mindset in terms of what they want to achieve this season. None of the players were happy about the performance against Leeds, that is a mentality.

For us fans, we just want to see the teamwork hard, play for the badge, and pick up the three points. The fact that David Moyes have instilled a mindset that we can pick up the three points and still be disappointed with our play is a huge shift in the way the players think about our standards.

With another massive fixture against Manchester United on the horizon, this West Ham side will be more than ready. We may not secure all three points, but we do know one thing. Manchester United better be ready for a hell of a fight.
